In the final quarter of 2020, Brazil's Android users engaged with a variety of Squad RPG applications. Here we take a look at the performance of the top five apps in this category, based on Sensor Tower's data.
Summoners War witnessed a downward trend in downloads, starting the quarter with around 12K and ending with approximately 2.5K. Revenue peaked in late October at nearly $19K but saw a decline toward the quarter's end at about $15K. Weekly active users fluctuated, reaching a high of approximately 200K in mid-November.
The Seven Deadly Sins showed an impressive increase in downloads, escalating from about 9K to over 32K by the end of Q4. Revenue saw fluctuations, with an initial drop, a peak at $24K in late October, and closing the quarter at around $19K. The app's weekly active users grew consistently, from roughly 60K to 87K.
RAID: Shadow Legends experienced a mixed trend in downloads, with an early quarter high of over 32K dropping to around 5K in December before rising back to approximately 16K. Revenue trends also varied, starting at around $14K, dipping in November, and then surging to about $22K in the last week of December. Active users saw a decline in mid-quarter before partially recovering to 31K.
AFK Arena had its download numbers peak at over 20K in late October, but then the numbers dropped and leveled off around 12K by the year-end. Revenue for the app rose through the quarter from about $8.6K to over $21K. Weekly active users showed an upward trend in the latter half of the quarter, ending at approximately 56K.
Epic Seven maintained relatively stable download numbers throughout the quarter, with a slight increase from around 2.2K to 2.5K. Revenue showed growth, particularly in November, starting at $9K and reaching a high of over $17K before ending the quarter at around $12.6K. The app's weekly active users remained steady, with a slight increase from 23K to 24K.
